GT Joysticks Boat Controls

The joysticks from OTTO Controls or GT Joysticks are based on Hall-effect or potentiometer technology. Joysticks with Hall sensors use the principle of magnetic field measurement via the so-called Hall effect. Advantages of these sensors are that they are insensitive to electromagnetic and high-frequency interference of up to 100 volts per meter. In addition, Hall-effect sensors allow millions of switching cycles – making them extremely durable. Joysticks or buttons based on potentiometer technology, on the other hand, operate on the principle of electrical resistance.
